The abolishment of slavery got through in December 1865. However, in 1963 Martin Luther King spoke about his dream for equality even a 100 years later because Afro Americans were still treated badly. 'Negros' still suffered from all kinds of discrimination. In this fifth unit you are going to learn more about Martin Luther King Jr.
